Non-collagen biostimulants are injectable products that stimulate the skin's own regenerative processes - especially the synthesis of collagen and elastin.

They contain active substances such as calcium hydroxyapatite and polylactic acid that „prompt“ the body to produce new, more structured collagen and elastin in the treated area. The result comes gradually, but is longer lasting and natural.

When and to whom do we recommend non-collagen fillers?

  • Relaxed skin of face and body
  • Reduced density and „thinning“ of the skin
  • Fine and medium deep wrinkles
  • For a tired-looking face
  • Skin with post-acne scars
  • Skin with wide pores and pigmentation
  • Vague cheekbone and mandible contour
  • Face and body skin with visible signs of photoaging (sun damage)

Biostimulators are particularly suitable for patients seeking structural improvement, tightening and light volume.

Effect and duration

  • There is a change in the very first days, but the best visible result occurs in a few weeks, when the skin has synthesized a sufficient amount of new collagen.

  • Over time, the skin becomes denser, firmer and smoother

  • The effect can last 12-24 months (depending on the product and individual characteristics).

  • Some products require series of procedures - for example 2-3 sessions per month .

Biostimulants don't change your expression or features - they work from the inside out to restore youthful appearance and healthy skin texture.

How does the procedure work?

Consultation and planning:

  1. Aesthetic consultation
You tell the doctor what bothers you or you don't like , it is also important to tell what your expectations are. We will listen to you and answer your questions , give recommendations and advice on what products are best for you .

    2. Preparation of an individual plan which includes:
Which areas will be treated, with what products, how many sessions are needed and what the cost will be.

3 . Pictures are taken before the procedure

Implementation of the procedure:

  1. Preparation of the area
The skin is cleaned and disinfected. A local anaesthetic in the form of a cream is applied if necessary.
  2. Biostimulator injection
The product is inserted with a fine needle or cannula.
  3. Distribution and final review
The doctor refines the distribution of the product and checks the symmetry. In some cases, gentle modelling is done by hand (massage), according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Pictures are taken after the procedure
  4. Instructions for after the procedure
You will be given instructions - what to do or not to do, when to come for the next procedure or check-up.

Recovery period and care

What should I expect after the procedure?

Normal reactions:

  • Mild to moderate edema in the treated area;
  • Redness and tenderness to touch;
  • Possible small bruises (hematomas);
  • A feeling of slight „tightness“ or density in certain areas.

Recommendations:

  • In the first month - avoid massage, pressure on the treated area and very high temperatures, such as sauna.
  • The first week, avoid heavy workouts and tanning.
  • In case of more pronounced discomfort or a worrying symptom - contact us for a check-up.

In what cases we do not recommend performing aesthetic procedures?

  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding
  • Active infection, fever, inflammation.
  • Severe allergic reactions in the past to similar products (at doctor's discretion)
  • Certain autoimmune diseases or specific systemic conditions - discussed individually
  • Recent aggressive procedures in the same area (lasers, peels, etc.)

All contraindications are discussed individually during the consultation. Safety is a priority - if you are not a suitable candidate for biostimulants, we will suggest an alternative approach that is most suitable for you.

Frequently Asked Question

What is the difference between fillers and biostimulants?
Fillers fill in lost volume directly and give a visible effect immediately, while biostimulants stimulate the skin to produce more collagen and work gradually. We often combine them - a filter for volume correction and a biostimulator for general firming, lifting and improving skin texture.
When should I expect a visible result?
Don't expect much change in the first few days - the main effect is visible after about 30 - 40 days.
How many treatments are needed?
Some products do not require repetition, only one procedure is sufficient, others are placed 2-3 times a year according to protocol. The doctor will suggest a schedule according to your condition and goals.
Can biostimulants be combined with other treatments?
Yes, we often combine them with dermal fillers, botulinum toxin, etc. It is important to plan the procedures correctly in time and to get the maximum effect.
Are they suitable for very fine, young faces?
For younger patients with no signs of aging or no medical indication, it is common to start with milder treatments, such as mesotherapy or mesobusters with amino acids.
