Dermal fillers are gels, most commonly based on hyaluronic acid, that are injected into specific areas of the face or body to restore lost volume, improve contours and fill in wrinkles.
Hyaluronic acid is a substance that naturally occurs in the skin and attracts water. Over time, its levels diminish - the skin appears drier, thinner and less elastic. With dermal fillers, we can restore some of that volume and freshness in a controlled, predictable and reversible way.

The appropriate filter type, quantity and technique are determined during the aesthetic consultation, taking into account your age, facial structure and desires.
Effect and duration
- The initial effect is seen immediately after the procedure, but the final result is evaluated after the swelling subsides - usually after a few days.
- Depending on the area, product and individual metabolism, the effect may last between 9 -18 months.
- For some patients, we're also planning supporting procedures over a certain time interval to keep the result more stable over time.

How is the procedure performed?
- Consultation and plan
We discuss what's bothering you, what you want to change and what the realistic options are. The doctor examines the face at rest and during facial expressions, takes pictures and suggests a specific plan - which areas to treat, with what type of filter and how much. - Preparation and anaesthesia
The area is cleaned and disinfected. For sensitive patients or areas (e.g. lips), a local anaesthetic in the form of a cream or injection anesthesia. - Injection of the filter
The filter is inserted with a fine needle into certain layers of the skin or subcutaneous tissue. You may feel a slight pressure or burning during the procedure, but it is temporary. - Modelling and verification
The doctor gently shapes the filter with massage to obtain a smooth and natural contour. He checks the symmetry and balance between the two halves of the face.

You get instructions on what to avoid in the first hours and days and when to come for a check-up.
Recovery period and care
What should I expect after the procedure?
Normal reactions in the first days:
- Mild swelling and redness in the treated area;
- Touch sensitivity;
- Possible small bruises (hematomas) at the puncture sites.
Recommendations:
- In the first 24 hours - avoid massage and pressure on the area.
- For the first two weeks, avoid the solarium, sauna and very high temperatures.
- If you experience more discomfort or something is bothering you, contact us for an examination and assessment.
In most cases, patients return to their daily activities the same day, with the swelling gradually decreasing.
When do we postpone the procedure?
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Active infection, fever, inflammation.
- Severe allergic reactions in the past to similar products (at doctor's discretion)
- Certain autoimmune diseases or specific systemic conditions - discussed individually
- Recent aggressive procedures in the same area (lasers, peels, etc.)
